National Particle Therapy Symposium 2021

Construction commencement of our highly anticipated Australian Bragg Centre for Proton Therapy and Research provided a fantastic opportunity for delegates to attend the fifth National Particle Therapy Symposium in Adelaide, on October 7th & 8th 2021.

As the introduction of particle therapy to Australia becomes a reality, we learnt how the implementation of the first proton therapy synchrotron in the Southern Hemisphere offers the opportunity for both collaboration and transformation.  lnternational and national experts shared their experience of working in the area of particle therapy and participates joined into discussions of how this treatment will be introduced into Australia and New Zealand.
